What a typical setup costs

Flex has one plan that starts at $510 a month and includes unlimited users. It lists add-ons on top: a second location ($150), RFID ($100), Flex StaffingPlus ($100) and Flex Payments ($25), plus training at $165 an hour (Flex pricing).

Your team Flex, monthly WisqRent, billed yearly
Up to 10 people, one warehouse From $510 a month $39 a month (Pro)
More than 10 people, one warehouse From $510 a month $119 a month (Business)
Any team size, two or more warehouses From $510 a month plus location add-ons $119 a month (Business)

On WisqRent Pro, every member counts toward the 10-member limit, crew included. Billed monthly, Pro costs $49 a month and Business $149. Flex includes one inventory import with each subscription (Flex pricing). WisqRent imports your inventory file for free. See WisqRent pricing.

When Flex is the better fit

  • You schedule crew. Flex builds shifts, assigns crew to jobs, keeps rate cards by role and applies overtime rules (crew scheduling). WisqRent does not.
  • You run trucks and large warehouses. Flex assigns racks, cases and containers to trucks, builds manifests and supports RFID (trucking, scanning).
  • You invoice and get paid in one tool. Flex takes card and ACH payments, gets contracts signed through DocuSign and syncs with QuickBooks, with the Flex Payments and QuickBooks add-ons (integrations). WisqRent doesn't create invoices or take payments.
  • You are a larger operation. Flex says it suits companies with 500+ assets and several users and locations (Flex).
  • You want a long track record. Flex was founded in 2009, and says half of its customers stay 10 years or more (about Flex).

When WisqRent is the better fit

  • You are a small or mid-sized team. Flex says it is not a fit for operations of one or two people or budgets under $300 a month (Flex). WisqRent Free covers one person, and Pro covers up to 10 members for $39 a month billed yearly.
  • You want to start today. Sign up, add your gear and send a quote. The free plan has no end date.
  • You want to avoid double bookings. Drafts and quotes warn about clashes, confirmed orders reserve stock, and sent quotes keep their prices (availability).
  • Crew shouldn't see prices. Six roles decide who sees money. Crew and viewers never see quotes or revenue (roles).
  • You want AI built in. Every plan includes the AI assistant for questions about your inventory and orders.

Switching from Flex

Export your inventory list as a CSV or XLSX file, with one product or unit per row, and upload it under Settings → Data. Include serial numbers and stock levels when you can; if products and stock come as two files, upload both together. WisqRent brings over your products, units and stock, and keeps serial numbers on Pro and Business. AI fills in the departments, categories and manufacturers your export doesn't have, and you review everything before it is imported. Contact support if you'd like help moving over.

While you move, start the 14-day Pro trial with the gear you rent most and run your next few quotes through WisqRent.
